Accessibility

BikeHQ are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible and inclusive to as many users as possible. Therefore, this site has been designed and built to follow as closely as possible guidelines laid down by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA, Part III).

The Guidelines Include:

- Using meaningful ALT text for informational images where practical
- Providing navigational short cuts for users of text only browsers and page readers
-  Using an easy to read font type and contrasting background colour
- Allowing user control of text sizes (see below)
- Making the screen width variable to accommodate larger font sizes
- Minimizing the use of frames, which are difficult for special browsers to interpret.

BikeHQ have designed and built our website to operate on a wide range of browser technologies including, Internet Explorer 7, Safari and Firefox.
