Throughout these terms and conditions, the use of ‘we’/’our’/’us’ refers to HQ Trading Platforms Ltd, trading as www.bikehq.co.uk. ‘Website’ or ‘the site’ refers to the bikehq.co.uk website, and use of ‘you’/’your’ refers to users of the site.

By accessing and using this website, you have agreed to be governed by the following terms and conditions, which we reserve the right to alter at any time without notice. Use of the site is governed by the terms and conditions published at the time of use.

Advertising content

Use of our website is restricted to the activity of buying and selling motorcycles only. You must not use the contact information of private or dealer customers contained on the site for any other purpose, other than the buying or selling of the motorcycle/s as advertised on the site.

Although we do our best to minimise any errors or omissions on the site, or on the advertisements on the site, we accept no liability for any such errors. In choosing to use the site, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any adverts you may place. We are not liable for the consequences of errors or omissions in any advertisement placed by either private and trade customers.

The site contains information about motorcycles which are for sale. This information is not advice, and you should seek professional guidance if advice is required.

We give no guarantees as to the accuracy of the information contained on the website. Although we strive to ensure the accuracy of our search facility, we are not liable for any errors it may contain.

Furthermore we accept no responsibility for the accuracy, authenticity or the content of any website to which http://www.bikehq.co.uk is linked.

By using our website you are agreeing that your advertisement must not be false, inaccurate or misleading. Additionally, you are agreeing that the information you supply must not refer to, or entail the sale of stolen motorcycles.

Your advertisements and/or information contained therein must not be offensive, obscene or indecent. We reserve the right to remove any advertisement from the site which we deem to have breached our decency conditions without notice. 

The information you supply must not contain malicious software, or cause the site to be impaired in any way.

Your advertisement must be placed fully on our site, and must not be represented by a link to another website.

All copyrights in respect of the website, as represented in the photographs of motorcycles and in our database are owned and administered by Bikehq.

The Bikehq logo is a trademark, and is protected by copyright. This logo, and any marks from associated companies are the legal property of HQ Trading Platforms, and must not be used or replicated in any way without our permission.

You must not reproduce, copy, republish, download, transmit, or extract the information contained on our website without written permission from us.

Access, availability and liability

From time to time, we will need to perform maintenance on our server, and as such we cannot guarantee that the site will available continuously. Therefore the site is offered on an ‘as-available’ basis.

Although we take all reasonable steps, we are unable to guarantee that websites owned and operated by HQ Trading Platforms are free from computer viruses or other malicious software. Nor are we able to guarantee that any sites that we may link to are free from such software. As a user of the site it is your responsibility to employ the relevant anti-virus software.

HQ Trading platforms will not be liable for any losses or damages including, but not limited to, direct or indirect losses caused by or originating from your use of the website. Similarly we are not liable for any losses arising from any decisions to act, or to not take action, which were based on information given on our site, or on any site to which we may be linked.

HQ Trading platform websites may offer hyperlinks to other websites from time to time. As we do not control these sites we are not responsible in any way for their content. Such hyperlinks do not represent an endorsement of the content of any external sites.

Text hyperlinks to the homepage of any site owned and operated by HQ Trading platforms is allowed without our express written permission. However such a link does not represent any endorsement of you or your company by HQ Trading Platforms.

Your details

In using the site you may be asked to register with us. This registration is free for private vendors. For trade customers, registration will entail a cost, dependent upon the level of service you use. Such costs are displayed on our site. We reserve the right to alter this charging structure at any time, though we would make every attempt to inform you in advance of any such change.

Registration will require you to choose a username and password. You must agree that the information you supply in the registration is factually truthful, accurate and complete. Usernames must not be offensive or insulting, and we reserve the right to remove any user employing a username which breaches our decency rules.

You must not register in the name of another individual, or supply any misleading information in the registration process.

All personal details supplied by you will be protected by our privacy policy. Use of personal details will be governed by our privacy policy.

Payment Policy: (Motorcycle dealers only)

You will be automatically charged at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle for the entire month. Billing cycles will continue automatically except at which time you cancel the package.

Your monthly billing cycle starts upon the day you subscribe to a BikeHQ membership package.

In the event of your cancellation of a BikeHQ membership package in the middle of a monthly billing cycle, you will have access to your BikeHQ account until the current monthly billing cycle finishes. Your BikeHQ account will then be closed and access to your BikeHQ account terminated.

Payment of BikeHQ membership package charges can only be made by a valid Credit/Debit Card.

Although we are entitled to vary the charges payable on BikeHQ membership packages from time to time, we will endeavour to offer a suitable notice period.

If the charges are not paid in accordance with our payment policy, we shall be entitled so far as is permitted by law and without prejudice to any other rights we may have to restrict access to the BikeHQ site and to charge interest on the outstanding amount at the rate of 5% above the Bank of England Base rate, from and including the due date but excluding the date the outstanding amount is paid in full.

All prices exclude VAT @17.5%

Launch Offer: Motorcycle dealers which subscribe to a BikeHQ membership package before the 31 May 2006 will receive two months free membership to the package to which they subscribe from the day which they applied.

General Provisions

If any of these terms and conditions shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the enforceability of any of the remaining provisions.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

If you do not agree to obey these terms and conditions you must stop using the Website.
